Last updated: October 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using ontariocleanenergy.com, submitting a form, or responding to our ads on Facebook or Instagram, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Who we are

Ontario Clean Energy is an energy advisor that helps Ontario homeowners learn about and apply for energy-efficiency rebates. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of Ontario, the Government of Canada, Save on Energy, Enbridge Gas, or any utility or program administrator.

3. Rebates and eligibility

Rebate programs, amounts and eligibility rules are set by program administrators and may change or end at any time without notice. Any information on our website, in our ads, or provided during a consultation is general guidance only. We do not guarantee that you will qualify for, or receive, any rebate or specific amount of savings.

Energy savings depend on your home, usage, equipment, utility rates and weather. Examples are illustrative, not promises.

4. Consultations and services

Consultations are free and carry no obligation. Any installation or paid service will be described in a separate written quote or agreement, which governs that work. Installations may be performed by qualified partners or subcontractors.

5. Facebook and Instagram ads

Our ads run on platforms operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta is not a party to these terms, does not sponsor or endorse our offers, and is not responsible for our services. Your use of Facebook and Instagram is governed by Meta's own terms and policies.

When you submit information through a Meta lead form or our website, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email or text about your inquiry, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, unsubscribing, or emailing us.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to only submit information about yourself or with permission, and not to misuse the website, attempt to disrupt it, or submit spam or false requests. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request.

7. Customer reviews

Reviews and testimonials reflect individual experiences and may not represent typical results.

8. Intellectual property

The content, logo and design of this website belong to Ontario Clean Energy and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Third-party names are used only to identify programs and belong to their owners.

9. Third-party links

Our website may link to government, utility or other third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The website and its information are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ontario Clean Energy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including denied or changed rebates, arising from your use of the website or reliance on its information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
